So, uh,¹ I received an award.²
It's difficult to win awards unless we have the opportunity to handle interesting and challenging matters, and are able to handle them well. For this, I an indebted to:
a) my clients: for entrusting me with your problems and crises;
b) my team: Diana Chang, Rebecca Soh, and Wei Rong Chua, without whom nothing would get done;
c) my colleagues at Covenant Chambers LLC. In particular:
i) Ee Yang Lee and Ronald JJ Wong for bringing me into the fold; and
ii) Andrew Yap, Wilbur Lua, Sara Ng, Pei Tong Ng, Huai Yuan (HY) Chia, Jing En Tay, Nicole Evangeline Poh, Stuart PETER, Rebecca Vathanasin, James Tan, Andrew Chong, Dilys Chuah, and (again) Ronald JJ Wong, all of whom have supported me some way or another in my matters;³
d) my ex-colleagues and friends who are kind enough to refer me work:⁴ I get by with a little help from my friends; and
e) my family.⁵

The content of this article is intended for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
¹ I wasn't really planning to post about it because it felt a little braggy, and that's not my usual kind of content. And also, Covenant Chambers LLC has already posted about it: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/covenant-chambers-llc_covenantchambers-legalone-legalonemerits-activity-7348200407304761344-HqvI/, thanks to Lemuel Teo and Simone Tay.
But I was told that I should post about it, so here we are.

³ There are other colleagues whose support I cannot do without. But if I'm going to tag them as well, I might as well tag the whole firm, so I am (reluctantly) limiting myself to just the lawyers (to be) who I have had the opportunity to work with on matters.
⁴ Due to conflicts, because they need co-counsel, or for matters requiring subject matter expertise.
⁵ Who I am not tagging to preserve their privacy. And also because my kids don't have LinkedIn accounts, duh.
