Law.com:
"The Singapore legal market continues to see law firm senior partners³ jump to boutique⁴ practices.
Khelvin Xu, most recently a disputes partner at Big Four Singapore firm Rajah & Tann, has joined local litigation boutique Covenant Chambers as a director.
Founded in 2016, Covenant Chambers is a contentious practice boutique that focuses on commercial and property disputes as well as technology,⁵ media and intellectual property matters. The firm currently counts 19 lawyers including seven directors.
Xu specializes in complex and cross-border commercial disputes, particularly matters with a technology element.⁶ He had spent 15 years at Rajah & Tann, joining the firm in 2009 and making partner in 2016."

³ Unfortunately, this makes me feel old.
⁴ Wiktionary defines "boutique" [https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/boutique] as follows:
"boutique (plural boutiques)
1. A small shop, especially one that sells fashionable clothes, jewelry and the like.
2. A small shop located within a larger one.
3. (film) A film production company making only a few movies per year.
4. (often attributive) Any company that has an exclusively smaller client base generally in a niche market or specializing in bespoke or custom-made products or services.

To keep attracting clients, the law firm of the future just might turn into a legal boutique, says Earle Yaffa, the managing director […]'"
I'll leave you to figure out which definition is most applicable.
⁵ I can personally confirm that some of my colleagues are extremely nerdy, but in a good way.
⁶ Which is a pretty good fit with firm's focus.
